Step 1: Your equation should be of the form y = mx + b where m is the slope of the given equation and b is the y-intercept.

Step 2: To write the equation is the standard form, you need to find out the value of m first. Apply the formula: m = (y2 - y1)/ (x2 - x1).

Step 3: Substitute the values in the standard form to write the equation.
